The Kawasaki W range is no stranger to the Deus Workshop, with a heathy appreciation for parallel twins running deep through our veins. None know this better than head wrench, Jeremy Tagand. So when Paul approached Jez about building The Webber the brief was simple…
“The Orsini Viper but make it mine”
Jez set to work stripping the donor bike back to its bares leaving nothing more than the tank and an untouched saddle. The front and rear guards were substituted for alloy units and a bates style headlight, flush mount LED tail light and classic posh indicators were installed on all four corners to maximize visibility and style on the road.
Vintage motocross bars with classic posh grips keep Paul held firmly in the saddle, while a slim Daytona Velona speedo was chosen over the bulky stock clocks. Metzeler Karoo 3 tires keep in line with the street scrambler theme while a slightly longer set of adjustable ikon shocks complete the stance.
A Deus Custom wouldn’t be complete without an SC Project exhaust giving this sickly sweet, green 800 twin its signature growl. From the tank to the side covers, The Webber was colored all thanks to Marc at Sydney Custom Spray Paint.
